President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, July 21, 2022 and is reported to be experiencing mild symptoms, according to a White House statement. Those mild symptoms according to Dr. Ashish Jha, are a runny nose, a dry cough, and feeling tired.

Biden, age 79, who is fully vaccinated and boosted twice is being treated with the antiviral drug Paxlovid.
Biden’s positive COVID-19 was detected as part of a regularly scheduled test.
