In a speech at the Young America’s Foundation on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, former Vice President Mike Pence said, “I don’t know if our movement is that divided. I don’t know that the president and I differ on issues, but we may differ on focus.” Pence was asked about the difference in “outlook for the conservative movement” between he and former President Trump at the conclusion of his remarks at the Young America’s Foundation Conservative Student Conference in Washington, DC. Pence also discussed abortion, school choice, the economy and inflation, energy prices, and the Southern border.
Sarah Isgur is an American attorney, political commentator, and former spokesperson in the United States Department of Justice. While serving in Trump administration, Isgur defended the Trump administration’s family separation policy,and Executive Order 13769 (known as the “Trump travel ban”).
Following her employment with the DOJ in the Trump Administration, Isgur explored employment with CNN and MSNBC. In February 2019, CNN announced Isgur was hired to help oversee the network’s coverage of the 2020 United States presidential election. CNN received backlash from its own reporters as well as the Democratic National Committee, claiming her lack of journalism experience and her recent involvement with the Republican Party.
