In Silver Spring, one giant fallen tree caused damage to 5 cars and the corner of a townhouse (Scott Broom/WUSA9). YouTube Tips ⓘ
The DMV was affected by heavy wet snow that resulted in less accumulation on paved surfaces. However, the snow caused some damage. A tree fell on five vehicles and the roof of a townhouse on Bradford Road in Silver Spring, Maryland. No injuries were reported.
Also, heavy snow on branches caused power line damage and scattered power outages affected a neighborhood of northwest Washington D.C. that was visited by WUSA9’s Scott Broom.
